Fulham boss Marco Silva warns of Bournemouth threat beyond ‘in-form’ Semenyo
Fulham manager Marco Silva has acknowledged the danger posed by Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo but insists his team must prepare for the collective threat of an entire AFC Bournemouth side when the two teams meet this Friday.
Ahead of the Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium, Silva highlighted Semenyo’s strong start to the season, where the Bournemouth attacker has already registered four goals and two assists in six league games.
The Ghana international also scored against Fulham in the teams’ encounter last season.
However, the Fulham boss was quick to caution against focusing solely on one player. “It’s not just him [Semenyo],” Silva stated. “If you look at the solutions they have in the frontline, it’s not just him. Of course, he’s in a good moment… but I think they are much more than just Semenyo.”
Silva also pointed to Bournemouth’s intense and physical style of play as a key challenge, emphasizing that his team must be ready for a demanding match. The fixture is set for Friday, October 3, with a 19:00 GMT kick-off.
