“The other night, I had a complete breakdown. I was trying to find the right outfit for Chloe to visit my parents and find her hair. I just sat on the floor and started crying,” admitted Savannah.
Savannah said her father, Todd, advised her before he left to serve his time, telling her that taking care of a family would be the “hardest” but “most rewarding” thing she would ever do.

“It’s like, you know, there’s something bigger than me here — there’s a 10-year-old, there’s a 16-year-old, and we have to deal with this in a healthy way,” Savannah said firmly.
Savannah insists that she is now focused on finding better ways to deal with stress and find normalcy by giving her a routine.
“Even if it’s trivial, I try to implement it [them],” he explained. “From now on, every Sunday, we will plan our meals for the week. [I’ll say]’You tell me what you want for dinner, and we’ll get you groceries for the week, and you’ll know every night what you want to eat.’
Despite her unstable start, Savannah is confident she’ll find her feet when her family is torn apart.
“It’s been a tough few days, but I’m showing up,” he said. “Just because things get tough, you don’t give up.”
