Chris Hughton has been named the new Black Stars head coach
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed the appointment of Chris Hughton as the new head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana.

According to the GFA, the 64-year-old’s appointment is in line with football’s governing body’s vision to “continue the formidable squad-building project that began with Otto Addo in the lead up to the FIFA World Cup. Qatar 2022 tournament”.
In a statement released by the GFA, Hughton will be assisted by Coach George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani who will represent Otto Addo at the recently concluded 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
According to GFA, details on the duration of the contract and terms of engagement will be announced in due course.
