As part of his mission, the award-winning Ghanaian dental surgeon and entrepreneur will share his experience and knowledge of oral health and related concerns to reduce the burden of oral disease, which affects individuals, health systems, and economies everywhere. In addition, they will use their expertise to create awareness and launch exciting WOHD activities and initiatives to mark the occasion.
Louisa Ansong Satekla is a dental surgeon based in Accra, Ghana, who practices at Charisma Dental Clinic in Accra and is a member of the Ghana Dental Association.
He has dedicated himself to public education in the field of oral health using social media
platforms and other platforms such as television, radio, and medical outreach. She currently holds the award for Most Outstanding Woman in Health at the GOWA Awards 2021 and Health Influencer of the Year at the Pulse Ghana Awards 2021. She was first named FDI World Dental Federation Ambassador in 2022 for World Oral Health Day 22.
Dr. Louisa is passionate about her charity work, which is mostly in rural areas of Ghana and targets children to promote academic excellence, especially in science, for young girls.
