Dominic Calvert-Lewin transfer news: Former Everton striker agrees in principle to join Leeds on free transfer | Football News

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has agreed to join Leeds United in principle.

The 28-year-old forward was a free agent, having left Everton at the end of his contract on June 30.

Calvert-Lewin scored three goals in 26 appearances for the Toffees last season – in another injury-hit campaign for the forward.

The striker scored 13 and 16 Premier League goals in back-to-back Premier League campaigns between 2019 and 2021 – but has failed to hit double digits since then.

The deal for Calvert-Lewin makes it unlikely that Leeds will do a deal for top striker target Rodrigo Muniz.

Fulham don’t want to sell and the striker is understood to be keen to explore a move to Atalanta, who have shown strong interest.
