Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Falynn Pina (formerly Guobadia) and her fiancé, Jaylan The banks, has been called quits. Falynn announced the split on Thursday, February 9, on social media.
On Instagram, the former Bravo personality shared, “It is with great sadness in our hearts that we have decided to end our journey as a couple.”
“Even though we love each other so much, we think it’s better to be apart,” Falynn said. “Our bond as family and friends will never be broken. We ask for privacy at this time.
Jaylan posted the same statement to his social media page. No specific reason was given for the separation.
However, news of the former couple’s separation broke when Falynn and Jaylan announced that they had suffered a miscarriage in mid-January this year.
Falynn said her home was “full of tears” and “heartbreak” as she and Jaylan grieved over their unborn child. The couple has a daughter, Emma Sang, who was welcomed in November 2021.
RHO viewers are first introduced to Falynn when she navigates a contentious divorce from Simon Guobadia in the event. Simon and Falynn both accuse each other of infidelity. Specifically, Simon accused Falynn of cheating on Jaylan during their marriage. Controversial, Simon quickly moved with Falynn’s fellow RHO alum, Porsche Williams. Falynn has suspicions that the two of them were “raging” when she and Simon were still married. Simon and Porsha have denied the claims, and they got married in not one but two lavish wedding ceremonies last year.
Simon and Porsha recently took to their respective Instagram accounts to document their honeymoon in three different locations, including Costa Rica and Paris.

Porsha also shared the same photo on her page, posting, “My Now and Forever #HoneyMooners #TheGuobadias.”
