Now that Darcey & Stacey back for another season, all eyes on Darcey as she tries to build a love file.
He had promised not to make another disastrous relationship mistake after it fizzled out with Georgi. And Tom. And Jesse.
As part of Darcey 2.0, she has spoken to the matchmaker. A matchmaker who said what many viewers have been thinking:
No more filtered photos. But is Darcey ready to listen?
In Season 4, we saw matchmaker Michelle urging Darcey Silva to cut her out with heavily filtered photos.
They look fake. Like, even more fake than usual. Fans have been griping about this for ages.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonightwhich you can watch below, Darcey promises that she can explain.
“You know what, hey, to everyone,” Darcey commented dismissively.
“I know, you know, I was just scrolling through my phone when he asked for some pictures,” she recalled.
“And I applied for it,” said Darcey, “and that’s the latest.”
“She has a filter,” Darcey admitted.
“But,” he noted, “we ended up taking a sudden photo in the office on an unfiltered phone.”
Darcey continued: “so we can get a really good picture of me in my natural state.”
According to Darcey, she feels the pressure of her time on camera. Filming for reality TV means filming without a filter. So they think it’s no big deal if they use filters everywhere.
“I just think it’s what we do for social media,” he advises. “It’s fun, you know.”
Darcey continued: “It’s my Instagram page, my social media page, and I don’t have a filter or two. I mean, you know, it’s for fun. We’re on camera in our natural state.
“There’s no shame in our game,” he continued. “Yes, we know who is inside and outside.”
Speaking about getting a lot of work done, Darcey opened up about some of the sexual rejuvenation treatments she’s had.
“That’s what happened over there, it’s called the O-Shot,” he began to explain.
“And,” Darcey continued, “what he did was take PRP [platelet-rich plasma] is to take your own blood and put it in a machine.
They put in a centrifuge “And shake them to take the red part of the blood and you will be left with gold.”
Darcey laughed: “They call it PRP liquid gold.”
Stacey chimed in: “Then inject it into the pubic area… to tighten it up so you, like, you know…”
Darcey then finished her twin sentence: “Younger and younger there again.”
Stacey then pointed out: “We didn’t try Botox until we were 35, you know, we had kids… So we just wanted to lift it all up.”
Darcey comments, when she tells the younger girls that she’s dating a guy her age, “He’s handsome to me, counting on each other.” That’s on camera too.
He added, “It’s really nice to see him being so happy for me and moving forward, moving forward in my life.”
“And,” Darcey noted, “you know, she’s seen me with younger men in the past, it’s definitely a bad relationship for me.”
“And yes, it was just a wonderful experience that could have been there for me while I was preparing,” Darcey continued.
“And,” he continued, “just so we can be together and see me happy.”
Darcey replied: “Am I a little nervous? Sure, but you know, I’m probably more nervous than he is, but he’s really into me.
