Tarlov — the resident liberal on Fox News’ “The Five” — used Tuesday’s episode to note that she knows people who knew two of the victims before speaking about late NYPD Officer Didarul Islam, who leaves behind two kids and a wife who is 8 months pregnant.
Trump’s post arrived in the same minute that Tarlov called for gun control on air.
“How did he get a concealed carry license even in Nevada? How are these things happening? And I don’t think that it hurts the conversation or takes us backward at all to consider how we might prevent one of these things from happening,” she said.
She continued, “You will never be able to stop all of the lunatics. But if you stopped this one, we’d have four people that were alive today who certainly deserve to, and I don’t see why that’s a bad thing to do that.”

The post from Trump — who condemned the “senseless act of violence” in New York and expressed that his “heart” was with the shooting victims in a separate post on Tuesday morning — arrives over a month after he slammed Tarlov for highlighting unfavorable polling numbers on “The Five.”
“Her voice, her manner, and above all else, what she says, are a disgrace to television broadcasting,” he wrote at the time.
