Turkish authorities said Atsu was found alive but did not know which hospital he was sent to – the Ambassador
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Turkey announced that Christian Atsu was found alive and sent to a medical facility for medical treatment, said Ghana’s Ambassador to Turkey, Francisca Ashietey-Odunton.
But he said the challenge was that he was not aware of the specific facilities that Ghanaian footballers receive for medical treatment.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Turkey has informed me that Atsu has been found, rescued and sent to a medical facility for medical treatment and will update me.
“They are working hard to find medical facilities that have been sent to them
“The challenge is to find the facility that Astsu sent. I am still waiting for the Ministry to tell me,” said Alfred Ocansey on the Ghana Tonight show on TV3.
“They continue to assure that if he is found alive, he will be taken to a medical facility for attention. When I get an update, I will let you know,” he added.
