Gospel Singer Eugene Zuta To Raise Awareness On Child Trafficking With Upcoming Album | Music

Gospel singer Eugene Theodore Torngmortey Zuta popularly known as Eugene Zuta released his upcoming album to raise funds and create awareness for the fight against child trafficking in Ghana.

The album titled “GOD IS” which will be released in April this year, aims to encourage Ghanaians to affirm their faith in God who is present in all seasons. This happened in the wake of the covid-19 pandemic which, according to Eugene Zuta, caused an explosion that killed the faith and subsequently the Christian commitment of many believers, even for some who until now had a strong personal relationship with God.

“It is a call to God’s people to remember the name “I am…” as it was revealed to Moses in Exodus 3. It is a call to remember the saints of the past who suffered persecution, hunger, and hardship for the benefit of others,” he said. Euegene Zuta in a press release published on social media.

The album features other Ministers including Siisi Baidoo, Nana Amoah, Sheila Botchwey, Ann Victoria Debrah, Seth Acquah (Joyful way Inc.), Ps. Samuel Akrasi and Sarah Lampety.

In the belief that music is not an end but a means to an end, it is attached to the upcoming album as a social impact initiative in an effort to raise support for rescue operations against child trafficking in partnership with the International Justice Mission (IJM), an international non-governmental organization based in Washington focuses on human rights, law and law enforcement.

The album will be used to create awareness about Child Trafficking in Ghana and gain support and funds to help children sold into slavery on Lake Volta.

Eugene Zuta is one of the gospel sensations in Ghana in the last decade. From very humble beginnings in Dansoman, Zuta has gone through the mill to become the toast of some Christians and gospel music lovers in Ghana and beyond.

For Eugene, music is a passion he found in his early teenage years until now. Music is the main channel that expresses devotion and love to God.

After the experience he gained there, he became the Music Director of the Bible Union Choir and the leader of the school choir at the Senior High School.
