Joe Rogan Rails Against Trump’s ‘Insane’ ICE Raids

Joe Rogan is calling out President Donald Trump’s “insane” crusade against migrants amid incessant raids led by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

“It’s insane. We were told there would be no — well, there’s two things that are insane,” he began while speaking with his guest Amjad Masad on Wednesday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.

During POTUS’ election campaign, Trump promised to enact mass deportations of criminals residing in the U.S. illegally, but data shows his administration has also made countless arrests of those who have not been accused of crimes.

Rogan, who endorsed Trump in the 2024 election, voiced disappointment over ICE taking aim at workers.

“One is the targeting of migrant workers,” Rogan said. “Not cartel members, not gang members, not drug dealers. Just construction workers. Showing up in construction sites, raiding them. Gardeners. Like, really?”

Elsewhere in the episode, Masad referenced Rumeysa Ozturk, a Turkish student visa holder from Tufts University, who was detained by U.S. immigration officials in March.

Ozturk spent six weeks in a Louisiana immigration detention center after Secretary of State Marco Rubio revoked her visa and called for her deportation over co-authoring an op-ed in her student newspaper. Ozturk was released from the detention center in May.

“What was her essay about? It was just critical of Israel, right?” Rogan asked Masad.

Masad replied: “Just critical of Israel, yeah.”

“And that’s enough to get you kicked out of the country,” Rogan added.

Last month, Rogan also condemned the ICE raids, calling them “fucking nuts.” The UFC commentator questioned whether Trump would’ve won the election in November had he been forthright about how his administration would carry out deportations.

“The Trump administration, if they’re running and they said, ‘We’re going to go to Home Depot and we’re going to arrest all the people at Home Depot,” Rogan said during a June 18 episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, “we’re going to go to construction sites, and we’re going to just like, tackle people at construction sites.’ I don’t think anybody would’ve signed up for that.”

He added: “They said we’re going to get rid of the criminals and the gang members first, right? And now we’re seeing, like, Home Depots get raided. Like, that’s crazy.”
