During the latest episode of 90 Day Engagement: Another WayKris Foster flew to Colombia to meet her fiancé, Jeymi Noguera.
Well, “meet” doesn’t quite cover it. This is my first meeting with someone, ever. And, nine days after Kris’s plane touches down, he’ll continue marriage.
Kris and Jeymi are very happy, but are they compatible? Living together and sexual chemistry does not always work out in people.
And there is one more worry: Kris wants to see how Jeymi will react to her narcolepsy. This situation affects her life, and will definitely affect her future husband.

When Season 4, Episode 2 begins to tell the story of Kris and Jeymi, Kris is still at home in a small town.
He is dealing with narcolepsy, a condition that (as the name makes clear) causes him to fall asleep during the day. This is not sleep and it doesn’t just happen when he’s sleepy. It can happen in the middle of a conversation, and it can affect his life.
Kris admitted to viewers and her mother that she was worried about how Jeymi would adjust – or not adjust – to being together in Colombia.

“Every day is a battle,” Kris admits when explaining how narcolepsy can strike without warning.
For example, he may fall asleep during dinner. Kris can also fall asleep in the middle of a conversation – something Jeymi experienced through video chat.
Again, this is not a case of sleepy people who stay up late talking to their loved ones and get sleepy. His energy level couldn’t prevent his condition from falling asleep.

Obviously, this caused friction in Kris’ past relationship.
A person can know, intellectually, that they are narcolepsy … but still be humiliated when they sleep. It’s hard not to take it personally, even if you know better.
If you’ve ever been annoyed with someone with ADHD for being forgetful (or experienced the distraction yourself), you know that it’s a problem that can still feel personal. Even when they are not.

So, while Kris has a fun and quirky personality, this has played a major role in her past relationships.
In addition, it affects his memory. Kris also shared that when he sleeps, his “night terror” problem can result in a “karate kick” or two.
Obviously, this could be a problem in his future marriage with Jeymi. It can even be a dealbreaker. This weighed heavily on both of their minds.

But even though Kris and Jeymi both have their worries, Episode 2 shows them both preparing to spend their lives together.
Oh, and meet. For the first time.
Jeymi is coordinating her wedding plans. The wedding will take place nine days after Kris arrives in Colombia.

Kris’s family has all expressed concern. He really dives into this face.
But he loves and supports her.
Dressed in a colorful and eye-catching outfit that showcased her personality perfectly, Kris boarded a flight to Colombia.

Meanwhile, Kris isn’t the only one feeling nervous about the kind of impression she’ll make.
Jeymi went to her friends, Alex and Leo.
They are not just there to talk. Jeymi also wanted her to do her hair and makeup before meeting Kris for the first time.

Jeymi clearly knows how to react when she reveals how soon she and Kris will get married.
Alex and Leo were supportive, even when pointing out some obvious potential problems. Sexual compatibility and more don’t always translate over video calls — no, not even spicy ones.
But ultimately, it’s about solidarity for Jeymi’s journey. He liked her. He just knew that a lot of people could be bothered.

Jeymi and Kris also know. And, according to the preview, a lot of things are wrong.
Obviously, we all have our fingers crossed that things go well for both ladies. They both look great, and we want them to be happy.
Whether Kris and Jeymi will finally find that happiness is up to them.
