Andre Ayew has landed in London after receiving a golden £2.5million handshake to seal his return to English football, with Everton poised to hold talks with the striker as they try to salvage a botched transfer window.
Ayew has jetted to the capital from the Middle East to discuss his anticipated return to the Premier League, news exclusively revealed by MailOnline on Wednesday morning.
After holding early round discussions, including with sporting director Kevin Thelwell, relegation-threatened Everton have to hold talks with Ayew again.
However, there is no guarantee the former Swansea and West Ham star will join Everton with Nottingham Forest, among other clubs, also interested.
Ayew has shown a close relationship with Forest boss Steve Cooper after their time together at Swansea, while Crystal Palace have shown interest in the past month.
