So, first, some background. Several times in JRE podcasts and other public forums, on Fear factor alum has spoken about the terrible events growing up in New Jersey in front of his father. Joe describes his biological father as “a very violent man” and tells the story of his parents who allegedly assaulted people when he was a child.
In one of his podcast clips from eleven years ago, Joe said:
“All that broken s**t came from my real dad before I was seven. My real dad was crazy. He was like a psychotic. He beat my mom, he beat my cousin.”

Over the years since making the claim, Joe’s father Joe Sr. Last September, he denied ever abusing Joe’s mother or anyone else in his life. But the allegations persist. And now Joe Sr. took to TikTok to comment on these claims directly to the public.
In a new video posted to social media networks on Monday evening, Joe Sr and his daughter, Bridget Rogan Carselda, talking about allegations of domestic violence and abuse. The octogenarian was clearly furious about his son’s claims, and had this to say to guide the video:
“You lied to me. Your father! If you lie to father, you will… give up the world. I’m tired, Joe. I’ve had enough. If you can’t talk to me, face to face, you’re an ass. That’s how you are.”
Wow!!!
Joe Sr. continues:
“You got all the money and everything. But you know what you don’t have? You don’t have a heart. And I’ll tell you another thing you don’t have: you don’t get two balls. You don’t want to talk to your father because you don’t can handle me. … You owe me an apology.
Wow!
At that time, Bridget jumped to comment on Joe and his mother left Joe Sr. when the future comedian was only seven years old. So, he said, Joe never knew the whole story about his father:
“Joe, you were taken away when you were young, right? Unfortunately, you didn’t grow up with the people you were lucky enough to grow up with. So my children have been blessed to be able to be great.”
Bridget continued:
“I’m sorry that all this happened to you. From the bottom of my heart, I’m sorry, because you’ll never know what you’ve lost in life.”
Joe Sr. jumps back in later in the video. Outraged by his estranged son — and his community — the elder Rogan slammed his son’s famous comments about the Italian-American community in which he was raised:
“You say the Italians in North Jersey are psychotic? Joe, I’m 81 years old, I’ve met a psychotic Italian. … It’s time for you to be a man, Joe, and get real. You’re wrong. You’re lying. We know that you lie.”
Then, Bridget cryptically warns that her family has receipts that will create a “really bad” dispute if she chooses to release the info:
“I love it when I see the comments. ‘They just want money, they just want a bag of money.’ I’ve got a box. Pandora’s box. And if I open it, Joe, it’s gonna be really bad. But look, we don’t play like that. We’re psychopaths from New Jersey, we don’t play like that.
Well…
Joe Sr. continue by trying to lure Joe to meet face to face to talk:
“Joe, in front of everyone, I looked at you, I pointed at you. Here, sit down, you and I talk, that’s all. I won’t tell anyone what he said. I’m a stand-up guy. I don’t like you, making up stories to make money. I didn’t do that s**t. Especially family. I didn’t do that. But I want to tell you something, Joe. Before you come here, and sit down, do me a favor: let’s buy that football.”
Later, Bridget explained why she and her father chose to go public with their allegations.

The younger Joe wouldn’t respond to him, he said, so he decided to take things to social media to get attention:
“The thing about the family is that we are very close. Whatever happens in the family, always stays in the family. This is all Joe is something very new to us. This is the only way to respond to him. We have contacted him personally. He does not want to hear what what we have to say. They don’t want to hear the truth.”
He continued:
“But here’s the thing: if you make an accusation, you have to back it up with evidence. And when there’s no evidence, nothing you say is true. We’ve got a box full of truth, Joe. We’ve got evidence from the attorney general’s office. We’ve got evidence from police department. We have evidence from legal cases. Are you saying, ‘my father is a psychopath, my father beat children, my father beat women, my father beat your mother,’ we have proof, Joe, that it never happened. real proof. legal proof. Where is the proof?”
Very dramatic!!
