For the first time in South Africa, the eighth edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to take place from the 10th.Th from February 2023. This is the pinnacle of women’s sport in South Africa bringing together the greatest players in the world – as a nation we have been waiting a lifetime for a moment like this.
It’s time for the South Africans to once again show the world that there is no World Cup like the African World Cup. It’s time for South Africa to #TurnItUp for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
The event will welcome 10 countries including tournament hosts – South Africa, defending champions – Australia as well as England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh and Ireland. Cape Town, Paarl and Gqeberha will host matches in the tournament with the knockout matches to be played in Cape Town.
