Speaking at the Nest of Champion Stadium, Uyo before a large crowd, Mr. Tinubu thanked the people of the country especially members of the APC who voted for him as the party’s candidate in the February 25, 2023 presidential election, saying his power to be. the president lives with the people.
“The power to be president is in you. Akwa-Ibom, you have welcomed me wholeheartedly. God will bless you. When I say Emi lo kan, God answered my prayers through you people. I got the ticket. Let me thank you for all the tickets. I thank you,” he said.

The APC presidential candidate, however, told the people of the state and their supporters that they will not get full credit until they all vote and ensure victory in the general election for all APC candidates in the National Assembly, governorship, State Assembly and presidential election.
“Nobody gets credit for a job not done because the job isn’t done until you choose. So get your PVCs. This is a revolution to change poverty into welfare. Unemployment into underemployment.”
In a prepared speech, which was not read wholesale, Mr. Tinubu pointed out that the highest objective of government is to use available resources for the benefit of the people in direct reference to Labor Party presidential candidate Peter Obi who has only credentials. he saved money when he was the governor of Anambra State. “My enemies want to take you back to the point where you, the citizens, labor and work hard to get rich during the day when you get nothing. I want to move you on the path of progressive governance that leads to a more prosperous economy as well as lasting security and peace for all.
“This election will decide whether you believe you and the rest of the country are entitled to good things, only a progressive, compassionate and responsible government can do or you want to hand over your future to people like Mr Privatization PDP or Peter the Stingy. .
“One man wants to sell all the public assets of Nigeria and its future, so that only he and his tight club of conspirators can enjoy the flesh of the country. Whereas Mr. Pelit wants to do to the nation what he did to Anambra. Speaking on his plans for Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Tinubu promised that despite being an oil-rich state, he would help bring more resources to the state through diversification into agriculture and harnessing the tourism opportunities available in the state.
“This land is rich and fertile. A well-designed agricultural policy and well-planned investment will ensure greater productivity and food supply, as well as opening the door to increased exports to markets around the world. We will provide infrastructure to help rural communities, create a commodity space to guarantee our farmers a minimum price for strategic crops. This will ensure a decent income for the farmers for their hard work and valuable work done for the country.

“In addition, we will invest in agricultural infrastructure such as grain reserves, produce storage facilities in local markets, farm-to-market roads and better access.
“My administration’s program to build an agricultural hub will increase agricultural land and encourage cooperative relationships between small and large farms that will increase production and promote agro-related businesses.
“We will also help bring industry and tourism to Akwa Ibom. It is a beautiful and friendly place with good and energetic people. Our industrial plan will encourage companies to locate here and make goods for Nigeria as well as foreign markets. This will generate fields work and provide foreign currency to help our nation progress. Tourists will come and will not want to leave this promised land. This means more jobs, income and better skills for you,” he said.
He also promised to help protect the oil reserves from vandals so that the country will be able to get what it really deserves from the large oil deposits, and also ensure that the oil companies take care and give back to the host community for. ensure development.
“This land is blessed to be an oil producing country. Akwa Ibom is truly the Promised Land! As we diversify our economy, oil and gas will remain important to our country. My administration has plans to manage these resources in the future that will lead to greater prosperity great.
“We will ensure self-sufficiency to meet the demand for petroleum products and we will fight against those who will seek artificial scarcity. President Buhari have fought against this force. I will continue the fight.
“We will rob the oil vandals of their ability to rob us. Our security plan calls for the use of the best aerial and ground technology to prevent theft and vandalism that rob this region of its profits because it also creates environmental and medical risks for the public.

“Your community should benefit more from hosting the oil company and give the country for a long time an important income for the operation of our government,” he said.
Speaking at a rally, the APC governorship candidate in Akwa-Ibom, Akanimo Udofia, dismissed those who used religion to campaign. He said that Mr. Tinubu built a Monastery for the Catholic Church in Epe, Lagos State and that he is a president who will serve Nigerians well regardless of religion and ethnicity.
Former governor of Akwa-Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio, charged the people of the state to vote for Mr. Tinubu and all APC candidates.
