Police Arrest One Of Krofrom Violent Clash
The Ghana Police Service says it has calmed down and arrested one suspect, Nana Osei Gyeabour, alias Point, for his alleged involvement in a violent clash that left one person dead in Krofrom, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The suspect in the company of several others attacked the deceased victim, Kwabena Azure, on January 25, 2023 and inflicted multiple stab wounds.
The victim died shortly after reaching the hospital.
After the death of the victim, on January 27, 2023, a group of people believed to be friends of the deceased surrounded the scene in Krofrom where the deceased was attacked and set the place on fire.
The Ghana National Fire Service was able to extinguish the fire and the Police began to restore peace, law and order in the area.
The police in a press release have indicated that the investigation continues and a hunt is underway to get the remaining suspects who are on the run arrested to face justice.
