MANILA, Philippines – Former NBA player Shabazz Muhammad continued to dominate Strong Group Philippines as he poured in 26 points to blow away Libya’s Al Nasr, 93-76, in the 32nd Dubai Basketball Championship on Sunday (Manila time).

Ex-San Miguel Beermen import had 9-of-14 efficient shooting night, providing a spark from the bench with only 22 minutes to play to lead Strong Group’s wire-to-wire victory and get a 2-0 record in the tournament. .

Muhammad also shined in his Strong Group debut with 24 points in a 91-87 win over the UAE national team on Saturday (Manila time).

Renaldo Balkman also dominated with 18 points on 7-of-8 shooting and tallied nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals, as fellow former NBA player Nick Young only made one of seven shots with three points in 22 minutes.
