Brandi Redmond Districtyour husband, Brian Redmond, was caught kissing another woman last year in Las Vegas. Na, after the video began recirculating the web in the middle of the fifth season of The Real Housewives of DallasA fan of the show sent the clip to one of the couple’s daughters.
When you look at it Savannah Chrisleylast week’s podcast, Stephanie Hollman shows disturbing details when Brandi looks back on the difficult season five Reunion, the decision to leave the series, if she ever does another reality show, and what really happened with Bryan and the mystery woman.
“When that stuff came out with Bryan, it showed a bad side to people watching because fans would send the video to their daughter, and they learned about it not from Brandi, but from fans,” Stephanie said in January. 10 episodes from Unlock With Savannah Chrisley. “It’s just so dirty because he’s a kid.”
Brandi and Bryan share four children, including daughter Brooklyn, 14, Brinkley, 11, and Brilynn, 23 months, and son Bruin, 5. And, after rumors about the Las Vegas kiss resurfaced, he was forced to address the topic at the reunion.
“It’s almost like taking a beating, a bit,” Brandi admitted, explaining that she and her family are still mourning the loss of her mother-in-law, who died in a car accident that Brinkley survived.
“[Brinkley] was in the car, and he was dealing with the tragedy and the PTSD that came with it. I just had a baby, and they want to say if I choose to stay with my husband or not. To me, that’s just disgusting,” Brandi said.
According to Brandi, Bryan is as sick as she is.
“My husband, he was very sick, and this video came up again … It’s like someone put it back to hurt us,” he shared. “But he was very direct with me like, ‘Look, if you want to leave me, you can leave me. I’ll give you anything and everything you want. I’ll take care of you for the rest of my life.'”
Looking back on the incident herself, Stephanie said that when the cheating scandal broke, Brandi and her family were in a “terrible place” but also a “very strong place” because they supported each other.
“They have such a strong, deep bond,” Stephanie said, explaining that Bravo couldn’t get hold of Brandi during that time.
When Brandi turned down a call from a producer, she made up her mind A GIFT no one else wants to be a part of it – before the series is canceled indefinitely.
“The last time I was my mother-in-law, and then there was, I was pregnant with my fourth child, and then there was a cheating scandal there, and I just thought that there was no way to protect my family,” Brandi said about her coming out. “It’s just going to be public no matter what, so go gracefully and be like, ‘Okay, this is the end for me, and I love sharing my life with everyone, but at this point, it’s time to step. away.'”
“The hard thing is that I like doing it. I like being with my best friend. But the hardest thing is that people don’t know. They think they know, then they judge you, and they think they know your husband, they think they know your children , and when it hits your husband and your kids, you’re like, ‘No, we’re all over it. sh-t,'” Brandi continued.
Plus, she added, Brandi’s oldest daughter, Brooklyn, doesn’t like being filmed.
“He’s really struggling. He’s not a fan,” Brandi said. “When the crew came in, they hid the materials, so they couldn’t find them. We ended up having to move her school even because she couldn’t control the editing. I called Stephanie several times just crying because if your child is sick, you are sick.
Although Brandi admitted to feeling guilty about showing her children to the cameras, she told Savannah that she no longer writes for television. That said, potential A GIFT life again may be out of the question.
“I think that I will return to reality television, but I need to be something lighter and fun and not like a drama even though I know how to sell drama. I think it should be more for fun and laughter,” she said.
“[A comedy-driven show] would be our dream,” Stephanie agreed. “I’m so jealous that [the Chrisley’s] already that [with Chrisley Knows Best] because every time we signed up, we thought it would be more, kinda what [the Chrisley’s] it’s just fun, funny, we’re friends, it’s just very easy and doesn’t really pan out in the end. I’m so jealous [HGTV personalities].”
“It’s definitely, slightly, from the beautiful bow at the back. It’s wrapped well, not too dark,” he shared.
Regarding her current marriage, Brandi said that she and Bryan are “amazing”.
“We are progressing. We are better than before,” he confirmed. “We have four beautiful children that drive me crazy. I think everyone has their own problems, and I think there are times in our lives when we don’t put each other first. We focus on other things.
According to Brandi, she doesn’t believe that Bryan tried to hurt her when she suffered punishment in Vegas. However, he feels he just “made a bad choice” and “got caught”.
As to why she decided to stay married, Brandi explained, “I have a lot of faith, and I think that God is a forgiving God, and he has forgiven. So I think to be more like God … and I want to love everyone and forgive. But also… I don’t know if he actually did anything other than this little video.
Giving some background, Brandi revealed that the two were in Vegas for a bachelor/bachelorette party together before the video was shot.
“He went to one club, we went to another, but we met at night and stayed [together] in the same room. It’s not what it looks like,” Brandi said, adding that all the video showed was Bryan kissing the woman” on the forehead.
Brandi and Stephanie both starred in all five seasons of The Real Housewives of Dallas.
