Daddy Lumba pays courtesy call on IGP

In a statement on his Facebook page, the visit, which is the first legendary musician at the headquarters since his appointment as Mr. Dampare, is to foster closer relations with the Police.

Both of them discussed how they can work together to promote peace while showcasing the great works of the Police.

Daddy Lumba also engaged with the IGP on other issues of national interest and explored areas of collaboration between the police and the radio station, DLFM.

The two, who appear to be best friends, are seen hugging each other in one of the pictures.

Daddy Lumba on Wednesday, January 25, visited the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, at his office in Accra.

The legendary musician’s first visit to the headquarters since his appointment as Dr. His throne, to improve closer relations with the Police.

He discussed how he could join the service, use his influence to promote peace, while presenting the great works of the Police.

Daddy Lumba also engaged with the IGP on other issues of national interest and explored areas of collaboration between the police and the radio station, DLFM.

The 58-year-old, who recently released his latest single “Ofon Na Edi Asem Fo”, is also touring the newly established Police TV station which he will be commissioning shortly. He was very impressed with the ultramodern set up of the station and wrote the same to the IGP.

Present in the meeting were COP Ms. Habiba Twumasi Sarpong, COP Mr. Yohuno, COP Mr. Adu Anim HRD and SUPT Grace Ansah.
