Presidential spokesperson Bola Tinubu, Dr. Josef Onoh has responded to Atiku Abubakar’s media aide, Phrank Shaibu, explaining the stages of the revolution and what the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate meant when he spoke about the revolution in Ogun state on Thursday.
Shaibu has criticized Tinubu for saying that he will revolutionize Nigeria if he becomes president of Nigeria.
Irked by Shiabu’s hollow knowledge of the dynamics of the revolution, Onoh explained that the emergence and evolution of modern science since the seventeenth century led to three major breakthroughs in the human condition that formed the main basis of Tinubu’s manifesto.
Onoh said that Phrank Shaibu obviously cannot distinguish between economic revolution and political revolution, regretting that Shaibu’s negativity is focused on political revolution.
“Firstly, the Industrial Revolution began at the end of the eighteenth century and was based on developments related to the emergence of natural sciences. The second, the Demographic Revolution, began in the latter half of the nineteenth century and was largely the result of advances in the life sciences. The third was the Happiness Revolution that began at the end of the 20th century and as a result of social science.
“According to the revolution as used by Asiwaju in Ogun state, especially in the economic theory of our nation it only means a breakthrough, if chosen, will lead to a broad change in the main body of our national economy.
“If Phrank Shaibu had not spent more time on the school mango tree during economics lessons, he would have known that Asiwaju’s comments were based on economic principles.
“Obviously, Phrank Shaibu failed to understand that the main driving force of any country is economic stability and revolution, so he must have basic knowledge of the four industrial revolutions which are coal, gas, electronics, nuclear, internet and renewable energy.
“From 1765 to now, we have seen an incredible evolution, we discovered different sources of energy and later, digital technology, which Tinubu as the governor of Lagos state tapped and is now making great revolutionary economic changes in Lagos to the envy of all .other countries in Nigeria.
“Coal transformed Nigeria’s economy from agriculture to industry in what is now Enugu state, then the capital of the southern region, bringing about a great industrial revolution through coal mining that began in 1900. The process became mechanized and products were produced for the first time in Nigeria.
“During this period, the discovery of coal and its mass extraction, as well as the development of the steam engine carrying railroads and metal forging completely changed the way goods were produced and exchanged. Railroad transportation began to replace wagons and mules to move these goods in the district that the current administration , a lot. This is a revolution.
“The second Industrial Revolution was Gas in 1870. While the first industrial revolution was made from coal, the second was the discovery of electricity, Oil & Gas. The invention of the combustion engine went hand in hand with the source of the fuel. Both steel and chemical products entered the market during this period.
“The development of communication technology got its start with the telegraph and then the telephone. Transportation increased with the invention of airplanes and automobiles. Mechanized production increased rapidly through the advent of mass production, giving birth to Nigeria as a member of OPEC; facilitating the various airports we have in the district.
“The third Industrial Revolution brought Electronics and Nuclear power in 1969. After another hundred years, nuclear power and electronics entered the landscape. Nuclear power began in Europe, grew in Great Britain and the United States, went into remission for several years, and grew in Asia where now our partnership with China, UK, etc., has resulted in remarkable progress I would like Phrank Shaibu. Alaba, Onitsha, Aba international market and Ogun state to ask for answers.
“The Fourth Industrial Revolution: The Internet and Renewable Energy in 2000. As we continue through the fourth industrial revolution, there is a shift to renewable energy such as solar, wind and geothermal. However, the momentum is not from energy change but from the acceleration of digital technology. The Internet and the digital world means real-time connection in other and other components of the production line, both inside and outside the walls of the facility.
“As the development of Industrial Internet of Things, cloud technology and artificial intelligence continues, I advise Phrank Shaibu to do research on Tinubu’s achievements as governor of Lagos state. He will find that he has embraced the revolution before now and now the cyber world has joined with the physical world with predictive maintenance and real-time data that has led to smarter business decisions for many companies around the world and not just Lagos. .
“Finally, Mr. Phrank Shaibu must understand that revolution is necessary for change in society, even if it is not always possible. BOLA AHMED TINUBU (BAT) Manifesto for Nigeria is a positive and total revolutionary change for our great country that will put Nigeria back in front of the fastest growing economies in Africa and the world.
“The success of the revolutionary ideas of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as contained in the manifesto, if the president is elected come February 2023, cannot be measured by the total achievement of one goal, but must be measured based on its impact and implications. It has been for the future of Nigeria which is totally different from Mr. Phrank Shaibu concept and interpretation of revolution.
“It is sad to have a candidate based in Dubai with an international postal and residential address, who is contributing to the looting of our country’s commonwealth, not limited to selling our national assets at ridiculous amounts and making thousands of Nigerians jobless while operating heavy duty national assets, liquidating Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), replacing bus conductors like a bureau de change, it is only natural that the thought process will only gravitate towards and conceptualise only a violent political revolution that will divide Nigeria in a failed attempt to misconstrue Tinubu’s public statement among the failures.
“Like a barren woman who would rather ask the king to divide the innocent baby between two claimants than to hand over the baby to its real mother, the PDP presidential candidate, manifesto, dream for Nigeria and his representatives, especially Phrank Shaibu and other characters associated with people- he who prefers to hope for the effect of the Arab spring rather than a united Nigeria barren of positive ideas and an economic revolution that will change our country.
“I am proud of my country, I am proud to be a Nigerian, so I am asking Nigerians to put aside their tribal, religious, emotional, selfish, vengeful sentiments and vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and together we will renew hope for our great nation.
“I advise Phrank Shaibu to register and seek assistance in any university in the Department of Socioeconomic Studies and not the Department of state security services,” Onoh said.
