Conservative CNN commentator SE Cupp warned Wednesday how former President Donald Trump could “weaponize” the GOP fight to benefit him as the party’s nominee for the 2024 presidential election.
The host of “Unfiltered” is not afraid of many Republicans who are reportedly considering to be president – like former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, former US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis – are ready. to challenge Trump, who announced his candidacy last year.
Trump will “be a weaker candidate than he was in 2016 and 2020, of course, but he just needs a plurality to win the nomination,” said Cupp, who has been a vocal critic of the former president.
