Michelle Williams got some sweet messages about big accomplishments on tuesday – not from everyone.
In case you didn’t hear, Michelle counted her five times Oscar nomination, this time to play the matriarch Steven Spielbergsemiautobiography The Fabelmans. She has come a long way from playing Jen’s girl-next-door Dawson Creek! But he co-star of the hit teen drama still remember!

bestie Phillips is busy sent a throwback picture of Brokeback Mountain stars from him WB year, write in part:
“BRB- I’m just going to go back in time and tell this kid he’s going to have 5 OSCAR NOMINATIONS in the next 20 years.
And a BEAUTIFUL family. And surrounded by love. (And a nice dress) But tbh- this is probably what I told her. I love you MW.”

wow! He added:
“Proud of you forever to build the life and career of your dreams, even though it’s so sad to be human, you think you can. But then you dig deep and try again. That’s one of the things I love most about you. You never stop trying. New methods, new recipes, new parenting styles, new authors, new approaches to work, new loves, new roles…
Awww! Pacey himself Joshua Jackson reposted the message, adding your own caption:
“5 Academy Award Nominations!!! Holy Moses. I don’t know but I imagine this was taken at some shady watering hole when we were kids. What an amazing journey you’ve been on. Welcome!”
Unsurprisingly, Michelle doesn’t get Joey’s compliments…
He and Kate Holmes quite famous once got together during the filming of the show, which went from 1998 to 2003. For years we have heard from behind-the-scenes sources that they hate each other even more than competing on the screen would suggest. They would snipe back and forth, according to rumors – when they should be talking about each other. Busy mentioned in his memoirs This Will Only Hurt A Little that things cooled down in Season Five when her character Audrey was added to the show, writing that “the main cast doesn’t hang out much together and obviously has a pretty strong dynamic.”
The bad blood seemed to last for years after as well. A source told OK! Magazine in 2014 that former colleagues “both are incredibly strong-willed and competitive, and have been talking so much trash on both sides over the years” that it is “difficult to imagine anything but ugliness when they face each other.” Alas!
So yeah, it’s no surprise that Katie didn’t rush out to congratulate Michelle on the big honor. How these high school fights last a lifetime sometimes, right? Even in high school it was only on TV…
