Jessica Condy's Adventure Below Deck Considers Ending After Captain Kerry Calls Her 'Intimidating': 'This Wasn't What I Needed To Be' Jessica Condy

Come to finish? Captain Kerry Titheradge found himself at an impasse with Jess Condy after the chef’s negative behavior in the kitchen.

“We control our own feelings and we can control the way we express ourselves. It has to stop,” the captain told Jess Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming episode of Below Deck Adventure, which premieres on Friday, January 24. “Women can’t walk out feeling like they’re walking on eggshells because that’s their job. It’s a big spiral.”

Kerry shared Jess’ attitude after she said she had reached her “boiling point” in the clip. “I don’t want any more negativity in the galley. This is bordering on intimidation what you are doing there. I will not accept it,” he continued. “The way you talk to other staff is unacceptable. People are afraid to enter the galley.”

According to Kerry, Jess’s actions affected everyone who worked with her aboard the Mercury.

“He is at his worst when he needs it the most. I don’t care if there is one day left, I can’t keep being a sounding board for the kings that are going on,” he said in his confession.

The South African native, for his part, revealed that he had considered walking away from the position, saying, “Maybe I’m done with the yachting experience because it really doesn’t bring me joy anymore. And my rule is, ‘If it’s not af-k yes than it’s hell no .’ Like I really wish I didn’t need it. … I can’t do that though. I can’t do anything else. I just pass.”

The tense exchange comes after Jess struggles to keep up with the interior team. The chief boiled Faye Clarkewhich team includes stews Oriana Schnepps and Kasia Faddah, before finding herself at odds with Jess during the service.

Ahead of Below Deck Adventure‘s premiere, Kerry had a glimpse of the obstacles he faced when explaining the crew.

“Everyone comes from different places, backgrounds and ages. They all have their own intentions, and we have to find our own footing. Know a new boat in a new country,” he said. Jess’ potential departure comes after Kerry let the deckhand Kyle Dickard went to pick a fight with Nathan Morley. “I feel he is a threat to the safety of other crew members,” the Australian native told the bosun Lewis Lupton about the split in the episode of November 2022. “So when I spoke with Kyle, he had the right to explain himself. But his actions were grounds for immediate dismissal.

The Texas native was finally given the chance to back off so the incident would go off the record. Kyle chose to walk off the boat after one charter amid the drama.
