Temi Otedola is the new Bamboo Ambassador
January marks the New Year with new resolutions, and new promises for you to reach your financial goals.
This new year, follow in the footsteps of the famous Otedola, the newly appointed ambassador for Nigerian fintech startup Bambu, and start the year on a high with a selection of global and local investments using Bambu.
Interestingly, this is not the first time that actress and media personality Temi Otedola has ventured into the world of technology. The ambassador’s announcement comes just months after the release of Temi Otedola’s latest Nollywood feature film – The Man for the Job – on Amazon Prime Video, where Otedola plays an IT genius in the colorful and contemporary fintech era of Lagos. The film directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, whose passion for fintech encouraged Otedola to dive into the technology industry by immersing herself in her character.
“I am often inspired by people who do great and courageous things!” Temi said. “With this Bambu ambassador, I hope to encourage other Nigerian youths to be independent in their investments and lead them to entrepreneurial success.”
Now available in Nigeria and Ghana, Bamboo is an app dedicated to helping Africans build wealth from the ground up by providing easy, safe and reliable access to above-inflation returns through investments in publicly listed US companies, a pool of companies called ETFs , other African companies, mutual funds, and fixed income products from around the world.
