Only my husband has solutions to Nigeria’s problems

The wife of the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Titi Abubakar, has said it all challenges facing the country will be solved when her husband becomes president.

Mrs. Abubakar spoke at a women’s town hall meeting in Ibadan organized by the South-west Zonal Campaign Director of the PDP Women’s Presidential Campaign Council.

He urged women to choose their husbands so that she could become the first Yoruba woman to hold the position of head of state.

“If you elect my wife, life will be easy because only my husband knows the solution to Nigeria’s landslide problem. He has the capacity to revive, restructure and reposition the dead Nigerian state.

Mrs. Abubakar promised that the candidate would not disappoint Nigerians if elected president.

“If you all choose my wife, she will not disappoint you. Nigeria will be better for the common good.

At the meeting, the South-west Zonal Women Presidential Campaign Council, Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni, called on Nigerians who have not yet collected their permanent voter cards to visit the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for that card.

Mrs. Adeleke-Sanni also appealed to Nigerians to vote for the PDP presidential candidate in large numbers.

“In Nigeria, women are the most populous in terms of numbers. We are the main deciders of who wins and loses elections. When we vote, we stay. But if you don’t vote, someone else will decide for you. Your vote is your power and your power it starts with collecting your PVCs. I urge you to collect your PVCs and vote for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and other PDP candidates in the February 25 and March 12, 2023 general elections,” he said.
