Birim Utara District Assembly, leaders of the Akoase Development Association together with some selected Leaders from Akoase paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Executive of the District and Members of Parliament in the Birim Utara District Assembly to discuss the overall development needs of Akoase.
The delegation was led by the Chairman and Secretary of the Association, Mr. Maxwell Gyamfi Nyantakyi and Hon. George Krobea Asante was received by Hon. Raymond Nana Damptey, DCE, Hon. John Osei Frimpong, MP, District Coordinating Director, District Works Engineer and many other Assembly staff.
The discussion mainly focused on some important projects such as the construction of two nursing quarters, a classroom block for the R/C, Presby and Experimental schools, which were specified for Akoase in the Assembly’s 2023 Action Plan. The meeting also discussed the Akoase Mining Project, Akoase city roads, hydrant provision and other important projects that the Assembly should consider urgently.
The Hon. DCE and Hon MP, commended the initiative by the leaders of the Association for a wise visit aimed at promoting the development of Akoase. He pledged his full support to ensure all the aforementioned challenges are addressed with the speed they deserve to help foster a harmonious relationship between the Assembly and the community.
