President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to lead the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential and governorship campaign in Bauchi State on Monday.
A statement signed by the spokesperson of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga, and made available to newsmen in Abuja on Sunday, indicated that the campaign would run from 8.30am to 11.30am on Monday.
“Buhari is also expected in Lagos on Monday to begin his two-day visit.
“The President will also inaugurate the Lekki Seaport Deal, a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) venture between the Federal Government and Lagos and a private company called Tolaram.
“He will also inaugurate the 32 metric ton per hour Lagos Rice Mill, one of the largest in the world and the 18.75 kilometer stretch of Eleko Junction to Epe Expressway,” Mr. Onanuga said.
He added that the president will also inaugurate the first phase of the iconic Blue Line and the John Randle Center for Yoruba Culture and History.
Mr. Onanuga said for APC, the campaign team of the presidential candidate will be in Abia and Ogun States between Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to him, it will be a busy election week as the candidate and his running mate will also visit Benue and Taraba State to campaign on Thursday.
He disclosed that the campaign train will return to Abuja on Friday to launch the All Farmers Progressive Association and inaugurate tractors for members.

“The event will be hosted by Kashim Shetima, the vice presidential candidate.”

“On the same day, Shettima will hold a Town Hall meeting with the Livestock Development Group.
“APC will consolidate President Buhari’s huge gains in agriculture by setting up commodity exchange markets in the six geo-political zones.
“The last political rally will be held in Zamfara State on Friday,” he said.
