Magashule faction ‘draws up court papers’ to ban ANC Free State conference
At least two branches of the African National Congress (ANC) linked to former ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule are all suspected of preparing to disrupt the party’s Free State provincial conference held this weekend outside Mangaung.
ANC sources confirmed that factions linked to Magashule were busy drafting papers to ban the provincial conference to end because they were not satisfied with being left out of the meeting.
ANC national executive committee (NEC) member David Mahlobo on Saturday said the ANC had not yet received a court letter seeking to ban the conference.

Ramaphosa’s Necom published an update on plans to end load shedding

As the country battles excessive load shedding, President Cyril Ramaphosa’s National Energy Crisis Committee (Necom) has released a six-month progress update on the implementation of the Energy Action Plan to end blackouts.

A Polokwane family confrontation turned fatal earlier this week when one half of the 36-year-old twins stabbed their sister to death with a kitchen knife in Ga-Mogotlane village.
