Lepowura MND Jawula died
Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Alhaji MND Jawula has died, his family has confirmed.
He was the President of the Football Association from 1997-2001.
He was the Chairman of the Black Starlets team that won the FIFA Under 17 World Cup in Ecuador in 1995.
The GFA tweeted on Saturday, January 21, “We are deeply saddened by the news of the death of Lepowura MND Jawula. Alhaji was the Chairman of the GFA from 1997-2001. He was also the chairman of the GFA @MTNFACupGH & being the Chairman of the @Ghana League The Organizing Committee until his death. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and all who knew him.
