Adam Kinzinger Is Stuck Wondering What The Republican Party ‘Believes Anymore’

“I still hold the values ​​that I hold,” said Kinzinger, who added that he had not “totally sold that I wanted to just for power.”

He added: “I don’t know what my party believes in anymore. I don’t hear them talking about a smaller government, I don’t hear them talking about a strong national defense. I hear some of them support Vladimir Putin through people who love freedom in Ukraine and that is not the party I know.

Kinzinger, who described himself as feeling like a “homeless politician” during the interview, considered at the time on January 6 the committee and said he thought there was a “pretty good chance” that the Department of Justice brings charges against former President Donald Trump.

“No one is above the law in the United States, including the president, especially the President of the United States,” Kinzinger said.
