Kate Middleton has a lot on her plate these days.
The Duchess of Cambridge became Princess of Wales when Queen Elizabeth died, and as Kate is the first person to take the title since Princess Diana, there is a lot of pressure to live up to expectations.
And above all, the mother of three is still dealing with the fallout from Prince Harry’s memoir, which did not portray Kate in a favorable light.
And as if all that wasn’t enough, it seems Harry isn’t the only royal giving Kate a headache.
Well, according to a new report from Radar Online, Kate is feuding with Camilla Parker Bowles.
The problem, it seems, is that Camilla’s new title of Queen Consort has gone to her head, and she’s made new demands on everyone in it, including Kate.
As the future queen herself, Kate isn’t too happy about this development, and it seems she’s already let Camilla know what she thinks.
“Camilla can’t stop being excited and her determination is making Kate’s life a nightmare,” a palace insider told Radar.
The source added that Camilla really rubbed Kate the wrong way when she decided that members of the Middleton family should start using the servants’ doors when visiting Kensington Palace.
Camilla is alleged to have sent a memo indicating that it would be “fit and proper for the Middletons to use the doors of servants like other merchants.”
This appears to be a stab at Kate’s background as a regular person.
Kate’s parents own a wedding supply company, which is why Camilla (allegedly) made the “merchant” comment.
According to Radar, Camilla also wants her own children, Laura and Tom, to be given knighthoods and other honors “as befits the royal line of England,”
He might have a point with that one.
After all, all royalty and knighthood are arbitrary, so there’s no reason why Camilla’s children shouldn’t have special titles.
Yes, she was from a previous marriage, but her mother was the Empress.
Of course, insiders say that Camilla has also locked horns with Prince Harry, so it seems their reign so far hasn’t been conciliatory.
Then again, we think Harry has to blame for the beef, what with blasting Camilla in his recent memoir and promotional interview.
