A fire broke out at several shops at Lorry Hohoe station on Sunday morning, January 15, 2023′ in the Volta Region destroying goods worth thousands of cedis.
According to reports, a fire started early in the morning near Hohoe market which destroyed several shops, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
An eye witness, identified as Kwami, who narrated the incident said more than 20 shops had been gutted by the fire.
Firefighters from Kpando division when called came to save the situation.
No casualties were recorded.
