After confirming her exit last week after eight seasons, Rinna directed Lisa Vanderpump‘S supposed to count behavior, interference from producers, and more as he also looks forward to the 13th season, revealing which cast members he believes will have a “difficult” season and show what needs to happen to maintain the success of the show.
When looking back at the season seven moment he asked Dorit Kemsley if people do “coke in [her] bathroom” during a Jan. 13 interview with Interview magazine, Rinna said she only asked “because she’s been accusing me of my f-cking pill bag.”
“It’s Vanderpump who wants this narrative to exist that I’m the head of pills, or whatever. And Dorit has come as a friend. And that’s how it plays out,” he explained.
However, as RHOBA fans also know, it finally went south between Vanderpump and Dorit after Lisa accused Dorit of abandoning a puppy adopted from her rescue center, Vanderpump Dogs, in a scandal now known as “Puppy Gate.” And, while she admitted to playing on the drama at first because she was “new at the time” and “took the bait,” Rinna ended up calling out Vanderpump for seemingly doing all of the failings to promote the center, which ended up being used as a launching point for her short-lived Vanderpump Dogs spinoff.
“I just called him out. [Kyle Richards] called him out. [Teddi Mellencamp] called him out. He and I always have a great game of cat-and-mouse. We were really great together. Then if I really caught what he was doing, I didn’t have it,” he explained.
While Rinna claims she didn’t learn the Vanderpump ways until season nine, she saw interference from producers when she joined. RHOBA for season five.
Looking back at him, he was angry with him Kim Richards in Amsterdam, which came after Kim suggested that something was going on at home with her husband Rinna, Harry HamlinRinna suggested that the producer encourage Kim to do something to trigger her.
“He got his ear, and he said, ‘We need you to do something,’ which I thought. ‘You need to kill Rinna,'” suspected Rinna. “I’m just glad I didn’t f-cking strangle him, because I crossed the table that, and I remember thinking to myself, ‘Don’t touch him. You will go to jail, and you are in the rude of Amsterdam. You won’t get out.’ That’s what’s stopping me.’”
Rinna also suggested that the producers might be involved, along with Vanderpump and Kyle, in the sixth season of the Munchausen drama, which was pulled Yolanda Hadid‘s Lyme disease struggle into question.
‘I don’t know if it’s the producers, but Vanderpump and little Kyle. And I didn’t know it at the time because he was so good. So I jumped right in,” Rinna admitted. “Vanderpump would call me in the morning for the day and feed… They feed you. This is like brainwashing.
After hinting at Vanderpump as a “p-ssy” for failing to show up at the reunion following season nine’s “Puppy Gate” scandal, Rinna named Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Strake is the cast member who will have the biggest problem in season 13.
“They’re going to have to show up and work … Who’s going to do the work there? Who’s going to say, ‘I heard you say this about me?’ I don’t think you can count [Erika Jayne]. Because Erika doesn’t have to do anything,” Rinna explained. “Unfortunately, they don’t have much to give. So I don’t know what’s going to happen there.”
While several other women are also rumored to be returning, including Kyle, Rinna said that Kyle can’t be counted on to stir the pot because she “wants to be liked too much” and is “too worried about what people think,” and noted that Crystal Kung-Minkoff “too young” to understand the game.
“[Kyle] I just really want to be liked” said Rinna. “I love him, but I say that to his face. He’s so worried about what people think of him.
He later said that Dorit was “into him” and admitted that Garcelle and Sutton were “sharks.”
“He just needs to be who he really is. He is, but he just needs to let go of the facade he creates,” she advises.
In the months since filming wrapped on season 12, there have been swirling rumors regarding the former housewives’ potential return. However, in Rinna’s mind, she believed that the new players would be better.
“Perhaps they will bring a big wildcard or an unknown person. The same is necessary. I think that doing that is better than revisiting people from the past,” he said. “[But] if worse comes to worst and they get something five weeks or six weeks into filming, they have to call [Brandi Glanville]. This would be an immediate fix, wouldn’t it?”
Although Rinna was not in a relationship with Brandi when she was on the show, she confirmed they were dating and revealed that she is also in a good place with Kim.
“I haven’t seen him in a long time. [But] last time [things between us] they’re good,” he shared.
As for former castmates Vanderpump and Denise RichardsRinna said that the relationship “does not exist” before adding that it is “good” between her and Andy Cohen.
He then noted that when he explained RHOBA cast, he doesn’t “need to hang out with anybody.”
“I have a relationship with Erika off camera, and it’s great. Dorit and Kyle too,” she explained.
Also, during the interview, Rinna was asked about who she believed to be the GOAT Real Housewives.
“Nene Leak … Bethenny Frankel … I think Kelly Dodd awesome… [Sonja Morgan] and [Ramona Singer] … And Kenya Moore. [Teresa Giudice],” he replied.
