It’s too late to leave the ship – Mahama jabs Alan, Afriyie Akoto
Former President John Dramani Mahama has urged Ghanaians not to forget the role played by some of the outgoing ministers in the “mess” created by the current government.
He noted that the ministers knew that the boat was going to be a disaster and that they would not be considered part of the “mess”.
“It must be a relief for those who abandoned the ship, but it’s too late,” tweeted the former President on Friday, January 13.
“It’s almost useless. They will try not to be a part of the mess we are in, but don’t forget the part they played.
Some members of the Akufo-Addo government already know that the boat is headed for disaster. It must have been a relief for those who abandoned ship, but it was too late. It’s almost worthless. They will try not to be a part of the mess we are in, but don’t forget the part they played.

These positions have been filled by temporary appointees.
While the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development Mavis Hawa Koomson is temporarily in charge of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Samuel Abu Jinapor is in charge of the Ministry of Trade.
