Here are ten key things to know about the seasoned police officer:

Current Position

Tunji Disu has been appointed as the Inspector-General of Police, subject to Senate approval. He previously served as the Commissioner of Police in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and was deployed there by former IGP Kayode Egbetokun.

In 2021, Disu was appointed head of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT), a post formerly held by Abba Kyari. He has since led major successes, including dismantling sophisticated fraud syndicates targeting bank accounts.
