Few hours after IPOB Ohaneze reconciliation, the governors have already began to regain their boldness in confronting the challenges in Igbo land. The evidence is the recent meeting of the five South-East Governors in Enugu where they unanimously agreed to stop the marauding Fulani Herdsmen proves that IPOB leadership have taking a very huge leadership step in addressing the issues affecting Biafrans.
The Leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra clearly mandate that all verbal attack and name calling on all media platforms against Ohaneze Ndigbo seize with immediate effect. In clarity of purpose guided by a good sense of quality leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra it is timely to meticulously extend her tenacity to the political class after the mediation of Prof. Ben Nwabueze.
The breaking news from the office of the deputy leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Uche Mefor in a twinkle of an eye set the social media ablaze owing to the fact that IPOB members, both home and abroad had every reason not to trust anybody involved in Nigerian politics especially with the complexities of Operation Python Dance II but the fact remains that any time there is a hit by the Nigerian oppressive Government, somebody must take responsibility.
Biafrans react to the news with mixed feelings and serious questions are being raised with the fear that the political class could be a tool in the hands of the British and Nigerian government to destroy the structure built on sacrifice of the people whose only hope have been fixed on Biafran restoration.
Nwankwo in Ogbete market Enugu is asking if IPOB leadership mute Biafrans to hand them over to the Nigerian government for the last slaughter. Njoku from Ariaria market, Aba is asking whether politicians can ever be trusted and many questions from all nooks and crannies of Biafra land.
Yet, IPOB members trust the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra, knowing full well that it had sworn never to betray Biafrans. Mature minds understand that IPOB have simply displayed an extension of tenacity to the political class by asking all her members to stop all verbal attack against Ohaneze Ndigbo.
There is no other reason why IPOB leadership will agree to take steps in addressing all the members of the Indigenous People of Biafra if not to protect and promote the wellbeing of the people with the full involvement of the political class.
Professor Ben Nwabueze proves to be an elder indeed by chairing the mediation between the political class and IPOB because the blame games must stop.
Putting things straight and calling a spade, a spade, all the experiences put together can only become an advantage to the advancement of the restoration of Biafra, bearing in mind that the Indigenous Peoples rights must be protected.
There is no doubt that IPOB have established a strong footprint across the globe towards the full restoration of Biafra and the political class must have also learnt that power truly belongs to the people.
It is also very important to note that IPOB have made her points clear to the whole world especially the Nigerian government so it becomes very easy for politicians to trade with caution because IPOB remains resolute and will always demand for the right of the people at all given times.
Without any form of hesitation or argument, Biafrans have proven to be disciplined in following the chain of command.
The media trading cautiously with the choice of words, if that is all it takes to synchronize and get Biafra restored, takes the lead in shopping for filtered words to allow politicians have the full sense of responsibility and understand that they are public servants and must pay allegiance to the populace.
